Tutoring for iPad, Android, and Windows Tablets

NOTE: I have relocated to my new website: Math Cookbooks

Online tutoring via tablet/smartphone is designed to be as close as you can get to private tutoring, but unlike private tutoring, the tutor and student don't have to be in the same room, let alone, the same city. I first had the idea to try tutoring on my iPad when I realized that most the time when I am private tutoring, the student needs to see what I write on my paper and to hear what I say--and really not much else. This tutoring app is unique because you have those two main elements: you see what I write, and hear what I say. And similarly, I hear what you say and write. Story Problem about Area: Taught iPad-to-iPad

Note: I have moved to my new website: Math Cookbooks

Online Tutoring via Tablet/Smartphone is as close as you can get to private tutoring, but unlike private tutoring, we don't need to pick a central location. The tutor and student no longer have to be in the same room. As long as you are in a Wi-Fi hotspot you can receive homework help in your library, at home on the couch, or in a study room.  In this tutoring session, the student and I were in completely different cities on our iPads. However, it seemed like we were sitting at the same desk working on a story problem together.

Right now the first hour is free.

Distributive Property: Taught iPad-to-iPad

NOTE: I have moved to my new website: Math Cookbooks

Here's your chance to sit in on a live tutoring session via iPad. Whether you know the distributive property like the back of your hand or you are seriously lacking in this area, watch this video to see iPad tutoring in action. Notice how effective the iPad can be in teaching concepts that might be otherwise difficult to explain.
